Human Resources Business Partner
Salary: $85,000-90,000
Location: Hybrid - in office 4x week in Santa Ana, CA
Position Overview
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will play a crucial role in aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. Reporting to the Director of HR, the HRBP will serve as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues, acting as a change agent and champion for the organization's culture and values.
Our company is a tax resolution firm that helps individuals and small businesses with back taxes by negotiating with the IRS or state tax agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance
- Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department
- Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
- Assist with recruiting, compensation, and other internal partners
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Human Resources Business Partner or similar role
- Understanding and application of Federal and State employment laws, compensation practices, benefits, leave of absence, etc
- Working knowledge of HRIS, Human Resources processes, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop creative solutions to complex issues
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus
