Soni is partnering with a growing leader in the restaurant and hospitality space to conduct a search for their next VP of Human Resources. The VP of Human Resources will lead strategic HR initiatives across the organization, replacing a long-tenured HR leader. This hands-on, high-impact role requires bridging corporate strategy with front-line execution, influencing 2,200+ employees while partnering closely with executive leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic HR initiatives including policy/program design, succession planning, talent development, and employee engagement
- Oversee talent acquisition from front-line staff to corporate leadership
- Communicate effectively between corporate and front-line staff; be highly visible in the field
- Partner with CEO, CFO, and executive leadership while remaining hands-on
- Manage HR team: HR Generalist, Regional HR Manager, Payroll/Benefits Manager, Payroll Specialist, Receptionist
- Drive culture initiatives aligned with company values (Integrity, Family Hospitality, Passion, Innovation, Success)
- Navigate union relationships and labor matters (union experience preferred)
Requirements:
- Proven HR executive (Sr. Director or VP level) with high-level strategic leadership experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required
- Track record of driving HR programs that impact culture, engagement, and organizational performance
- Experience managing HR systems and metrics
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence all levels of the organization
- Comfortable with field presence and visibility across multiple locations
Preferred Skills:
- Union experience preferred
- Experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality strongly preferred
- MBA/Masters and PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
Compensation: $215,000 - $240,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
