We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on HR Business Partner to support our retail operations. This role combines strategic HR partnership with operational excellence, including responsibility for payroll administration. The ideal candidate will work closely with store managers and regional leadership to drive employee engagement, ensure compliance, and support business performance across our retail locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic advisor to retail leadership on HR matters including workforce planning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
- Support in managing employee relations, performance issues, and team development.
- Oversee end-to-end payroll administration processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution in collaboration with the payroll provider.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, health & safety regulations, and internal HR policies
- Lead recruitment efforts for store-level roles, ensuring a strong pipeline of talent and a positive candidate experience.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, payroll costs) to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Support training and onboarding programs tailored to the retail environment.
- Promote a culture of inclusion, customer focus, and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a retail or multi-site environment.
- Solid knowledge of payroll processes and labor law compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and support store teams.
- Proficiency in ADP.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment with travel to store locations.
