Job Summary:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders across Big Machine Label Group and other HYBE entities, providing HR guidance and solutions that best support the employees and the business alike. This role will be primarily located in Nashville, TN, supporting local and remote employees throughout the U.S., requiring some travel. The HRBP will balance strategic consultation with hands-on execution, driving initiatives that build culture, talent, and organizational effectiveness in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leaders to understand business priorities and develop HR strategies that support organizational goals.
- Assist the Sr HR Manager in driving organizational HR and business initiatives, as well as day-to-day HR needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, performance management, and workforce development.
- Manage employee relations with a solutions-focused approach that ensures compliance, fairness, and positive workplace culture.
- Drive recruiting strategies to attract and retain top-tier talent across creative and corporate functions.
- Lead initiatives around employee engagement, retention, and recognition to enhance the employee experience.
- Partner with leaders on promotions and career development to support internal growth.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, leadership development, and conflict resolution.
- Monitor HR metrics and trends to proactively address workforce needs.

Required Experience:
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years of HR experience in employee relations and consulting.
- HR experience in the entertainment industry strongly preferred.
- Experience with HRIS and ATS systems, particularly Paycor and Employee Navigator.
- Experience with project management platforms is a plus, especially Airtable.
- Demonstrated success in balancing strategic vision with tactical execution.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to partner with leaders in fast-paced, creative, or media/entertainment industries preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- High agility and adaptability to change.
- Ability to work collaboratively with fellow team members and other departments.
- Must be able to maintain high confidentiality.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (PHR/ SHRM) preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position may oversee an intern each semester.
