Job Summary
The Director, Human Resources Business Partner is a heavily hands-on leader primarily responsible for providing tactical and strategic leadership to assigned operations. In partnership with the VP, Human Resources and members of the executive team, the Director will be responsible for the creation and management of the HR ecosystem, driving the end-to-end talent agenda and HR initiatives. The Director will serve as a reliable and trusted business partner supporting executive leaders and team members alike.
Job Responsibilities
- Interpret, communicate, and cascade HR strategy to field operations to support changing business needs while fostering transparency and change.
- Partner with leadership to implement HR programs including workforce planning, training, performance management, recognition programs, and pay strategies.
- Oversee, develop, and train a team of regional HR business partners, where applicable, supporting the assigned territory.
- Effectively addresses employee relations issues and provides conflict resolution support.
- Support the full- cycle team member experience from onboarding to offboarding.
- Identifies and implements opportunities to enhance HR programs and employee engagement.
- Ensures compliance with employment laws and applicable policies.
- Monitors HR metrics and trends and recommends and implements program improvements.
- Assists in the development, implementation, and interpretations of HR policies and procedures.
- In partnership with HR leadership and other Home Office departments, supports special projects and organizational initiatives as needed.
- Support the process of organization design and role creation/changes.
- Deliver appropriate coaching and development feedback to managers and employees.
- Liaise between the business, HR, and other parts of the organization (e.g., Communications, Legal)Ability to travel by air as business needs required

- Proven analytical, process-oriented, visionary HR professional with expertise across the full spectrum of HR and the humility and ability to regularly pivot from strategic to operational.
- Effective people management and people development skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field from an accredited institution
- Ten (10) or more years of relevant Human Resources experience, primarily as a strategic HR Business Partner or Generalist and/or combination of HR specialist experience.
- Prior experience with a distributed workforce and exposure to best-in-class HR, from other organizations of similar size and stage of transformation.
- Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
