Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent. This includes identifying, interviewing, and hiring candidates for various positions within the company.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company, as well as handle offboarding procedures.
- HR Policies and Documentation: Develop and enforce HR policies, maintain HR documentation, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Employee Engagement & Feedback: Establish a structured system that ensures employees feel valued, supported, and heard. This includes regular engagement surveys, feedback mechanisms, and follow-up actions to strengthen workplace satisfaction, maintain open communication, and foster a positive culture.
- Training and Development: Organize and implement training and development programs to foster employee growth and improve performance.
- Budget Management: Oversee the HR budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in conducting interviews, and leading hiring process.
- Experience in recruiting talent for biotech, pharmaceutical, or other high-tech companies сonsidered an advantage.
- Strong network of talent pools and contract recruiters, with connections to top-tier universities сonsidered an advantage.
- Knowledge of HR and employment regulations in the US, including multi-state companies.
- Understanding of startup environments and their unique challenges.
- Experience working with early-stage startups, remote employees, and those who are not US citizens.
- Experience in negotiating and collaborating with partners from consulting firms, research companies, academia, and organizations developing complex engineering, architectural, and IT solutions.
- US-based.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
