An organization preparing for an enterprise-wide Workday implementation is seeking a seasoned HR Manager with strong Workday experience to lead the transition. This role is critical in consolidating HR, payroll, and time systems across multiple business entities, ensuring best practices, and driving adoption of a unified HR model. The HR Manager will partner closely with HR and Finance leadership to guide the organization through change management and implementation activities.
This role is a contract and will require a hybrid scheduled in Fremont, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR liaison for the Workday implementation project.
- Partner with Finance leaders, and HR managers across all entities.
- Drive adoption of best practices in HR operations, payroll, and time tracking.
- Support change management efforts and ensure smooth communication across business units.
- Coordinate and lead data validation, unit testing, and go-live readiness activities.
- Align HR systems and processes to support long-term enterprise-wide goals.
- Act as a bridge between HR and IT teams, ensuring business requirements are met.
- Provide strategic input to help unify systems and practices across hospital, surgery center, and medical foundation teams.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of recent, hands-on Workday experience (HR modules required).
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience in a healthcare setting (healthcare industry experience is required).
- Strong understanding of HR systems, including payroll and time tracking.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in HR operations and systems implementation.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional collaboration and organizational change.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
