Our client, a growing hospitality company, is seeking a Human Resources Director to oversee the people function and lead a lean team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, small office environment where tight deadlines are common. This individual will be responsible for driving recruitment and ensuring a strong onboarding experience, overseeing employee relations and compliance programs, managing compensation and benefits, and partnering with managers on performance management, training, and career development.
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law, compliance, and employee relations
- Proven experience overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and training programs
Preferences
- Background in hospitality or service-based industries
- HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR
- Experience managing compensation and benefits programs
- Track record of building employee engagement and retention initiatives
