Talent Acquisition Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist who will be part of an energetic and motivated team that directly impacts the growth and success of our company. The successful candidate will be charged with applying his/her recruitment expertise to strengthen overall TA efforts.
Expectations:
- The recruiter will locate top tier candidates and present them with confidence to all relevant stakeholders.
- The recruiter will create and execute diverse recruiting strategies to find talent for various positions within our firm using a tailored and strategic approach.
- Research the best job advertising techniques for the current market.
- Perform full lifecycle recruiting of candidates mostly utilizing out of the box and non-traditional sourcing techniques.
- Develop creative sourcing methods to expand visibility and network for potential candidates in a highly-competitive market and industry while staying aware of cost-effective strategies that eliminate the need for external recruiters and minimize costs of placement fees.
- Explore market best practices in recruiting and staffing and implement those that are appropriate to the firm.
- Develop and maintain strong internal customer and candidate relationships.
- Maintain all systems with accurate and well-ordered documentation on all recruitment activities.
- Maintain courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with employees at all levels within and external to the organization.
- Beyond the elite sourcing of candidates, you will also be expected to conduct phone and/or preliminary interviews.
- Comply with all federal and state laws and company policies regarding recruitment and selection processes.
- Attend regular staffing meetings to stay abreast of current and future talent requirements.
- Perform salary negotiations with clarity, confidence, and business prowess.
Must-haves:
- Experience with Talent Acquisition; Recruiting, or sourcing
- Experience in screening and interviewing job applicants
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to make sound decisions quickly and efficiently
- Experience with the use of applicant tracking software and HR databases
- Knowledge of social media and professional networks
- Modern technical skills (AI, applications, platforms...)
- Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Preferred:
- Experience building and cultivating business relationships (i.e. Account Management, Business Development... or similar)
- Five (5) to eight (8) years' experience as a paid recruiter
- College degree or certifications highly desired.
- Previous Pay-per-fill experience highly desired.
