Eaton’s Electrical sector, Commercial Products & Assemblies division (CPA) is seeking a Senior HR Manager to lead the HR function throughout the satellite organization. The role is located in Charlotte, NC and a minimum of 50% travel will be required. Relocation assistance is available.

Reporting to General Manager for CPA Satellites, this role provides strategic and tactical HR leadership for over 450 employees in 16 geographically dispersed plants across the United States. As an integral part of the site leadership team, this role will identify, develop, and deploy business-driven HR strategies designed to attract, manage, develop, motivate, and retain talent while creating a high-performance, sustainable organization capable of achieving the business objectives and action plans. Additionally, this role will directly manage other HR professionals.

In This Role You Will

Culture and Organization Effectiveness: Understand the business strategy and identify opportunities to improve organizational capability and drive culture change to align the organization with the strategy. Must have the ability to diagnose gaps between current and desired organization performance and deploy actions to resolve gap, including organization redesign, process change, coaching and training. Ensure organization practices align with Eaton Philosophy.
Performance Management: Utilize Performance Review tools to ensure that annual employee job performance assessments are conducted. This includes the annual goal setting process, the annual assessment process and periodic feedback sessions that strive to raise the performance bar in the organization. Provide coaching and consulting to business leaders on effective performance management intervention
Employee Communications: Advocate employee communications processes that inform employees as well as to assure two-way communications between employees and management
Coaching, Consulting, and facilitating: Provides guidance and direction to business leaders on human resource management policies, processes and systems
Training and Development: Manage these processes to facilitate employee development
Legal Compliance: Assure that the business has in place processes that comply with country legal requirements in the areas of employment and employment administration. This includes several changing state and local jurisdictions across the United States
Compensation: Administer compensation programs to assure competitive pay practices through systems that strive to reward superior employee performance
Employee Relations: Promotes positive employee relations and employee engagement
Talent Management and Retention: Develop talent acquisition plans that anticipate short/long-term business needs. Coach others on how to engage and retain key talent, identify when there is a retention risk and differentiate between wanted and unwanted turnover

Your Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of HR experience
HR leadership experience supporting a manufacturing site or business
Proven ability to partner and influence senior leaders in order to achieve business results
Requires knowledge of accepted HR theory, policies, practices, laws, and regulations affecting such areas as: Wage and Salary Administration, Labor Relations, OSHA, EPA, Right-to-Know, FMLA
HR Administrative knowledge required; to include, Benefits Administration, Budgeting, Forecasting, Wage, and Salary Administration
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related field from an accredited institution
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. Master’s degree in human resources/industrial relations or related field
SPHR/PHR certification

The incumbent must demonstrate impartiality concerning employee related issues and serving as an employee advocate when necessary.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $123750.0 - $181500.0 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
