We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to support our Mid-Atlantic facilities in the Shenandoah Valley area. This role is essential in fostering a positive work environment and driving key HR initiatives, including employee relations, recruiting, and performance management. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to improving HR processes and ensuring compliance while contributing to the overall success of our teams.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to federal and state employment laws as well as company policies, maintaining compliance within all HR practices.

• Facilitate performance management processes, including coaching supervisors, organizing reviews, and ensuring proper documentation.

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing and technical positions.

• Maintain and update HR data within company systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline and automate HR operations.

• Oversee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for employees.

• Handle sensitive employee information with the utmost professionalism and confidentiality.

• Support employee engagement activities and contribute to broader HR initiatives across multiple sites.

• Travel periodically to provide onsite HR support, approximately 5-10%

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification is a plus.
• 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Virginia employment laws and HR compliance standards.
• Proficiency in HR information systems, such as Workday or similar platforms, along with experience in data reporting and process optimization.
• Proven track record in recruiting for technical roles within manufacturing environments.
• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities across various locations with efficiency.
• High level of integrity and discretion when managing sensitive information.
