HR Specialist - Corporate Firm - $120k
Top law firm in DTLA is looking for an experienced HR professional to join their team as an HR Specialist!
In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted partner across the full employee lifecycle and handle onboarding and performance management to compliance and employee engagement.
This is a hybrid position with firmwide impact, offering the opportunity to shape culture, support leadership, and drive meaningful HR initiatives.
If you have 5+ years of HR experience with a strong employee relations and performance management background, this could be a great long-term opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead onboarding and new hire integration
- Partner with managers to support performance management, coaching, and employee development
- Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes, and terminations
- Support annual performance reviews and mid-year check-ins
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and oversee required training programs
- Contribute to HR programs, policies, and employee engagement initiatives
A bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field is a plus. The ideal individual will also have a solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices, strong communication skills, extreme organization, and a solid problem-solving ability.
