JOB DESCRIPTION
The Human Resources Director serves as a strategic partner to leadership, aligning people strategies with business objectives to drive performance, strengthen culture, and support organizational growth. This role leads key areas of talent management, employee experience, compensation, and compliance, while ensuring consistent and effective HR practices across the company.
Essential
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership, providing guidance on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and team performance
- Ensures Company compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; partners with legal counsel as appropriate
- Develops, implements, and communicates HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure consistency and compliance
- Leads talent management efforts including recruitment, retention, development, and performance management
- Partners on compensation strategy, including market alignment, internal equity, and retention planning
- Supports employee relations by addressing workplace concerns and guiding leaders through complex situations
- Oversees HR operations and administration, including management and development of HR staff
- Maintains awareness of industry trends and recommends improvements to HR programs and practices
- Evaluates and recommends benefits programs to remain competitive and cost-effective Participates in executive and leadership meetings, providing a strategic HR perspective

- Supports organizational changes including restructuring, growth, and workforce transitions
- Assists with company-wide initiatives related to culture, engagement, and development
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including leadership responsibility
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategy to operational needs
- Demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships with leaders at all levels
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of integrity and professionalism aligned with company values
- Proven ability to develop and lead high-performing teams
