HR Director
Remote Role – Supporting All U.S. Time Zones
Salary Range: $155,000 to $185,000

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on HR Director to lead and evolve our Human Resources function across a multi-site organization. This leader will oversee HR operations, talent acquisition, and employee experience while acting as a trusted partner to executive and operational leadership.
This role is critical to shaping our people strategy, building scalable infrastructure, and driving a high-performance, mission-driven culture. What You’ll Do
Lead & Develop the HR Function
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR professionals, including recruiters and generalists, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and best practices
- Lead the HR function in support of multiple products, service lines, and operational locations
- Build and scale HR infrastructure, processes, and systems to support rapid growth
- Partner with executive leadership to align HR strategy with business goals
Drive Talent Acquisition Strategy
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment across all functions in the organization.
- Partner with leaders on workforce planning, hiring forecasts, and talent pipelines
- Implement data-driven recruiting strategies to improve speed, quality, and candidate experience
Champion Employee Experience & Culture
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding
- Drive engagement initiatives that reinforce HALO Dx’s mission and values
- Partner with leaders to strengthen communication, collaboration, and team effectiveness
- Facilitate and participate in the development of content, structure, and communications for company-wide meetings and employee engagement forums
Lead Employee Relations & Compliance
- Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters, investigations, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and healthcare regulations
- Develop and maintain HR policies and best practices
- Design and deliver training programs for managers and employees on compliance, performance management, workplace conduct, and leadership development
Shape Organizational Strategy
- Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and role structuring across a multi-site environment
- Implement performance management programs, leadership development, and succession planning
- Use HR metrics and analytics to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement
Oversee Total Rewards & HR Operations
- Partner with leadership on compensation strategy, job leveling, and organizational structure
- Oversee benefits administration, leave management, and workers’ compensation programs
- Ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable HR operations
Support Growth & Transformation
- Lead HR initiatives related to expansion, new site openings, and organizational change
- Support M&A activity and integration efforts as applicable
- Drive change management to support business transformation
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 8–12+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3–5+ years in a leadership role
- Proven experience building and leading HR teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Strong background supporting healthcare organizations (radiology, oncology, genetics, or similar preferred)
- Deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and multi-state compliance
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive organizational outcomes
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using HR metrics and data to inform decisions
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information
- Experience operating within a fast-growth, professional services environment
- Experience supporting the rapid scaling of a North America–based organization, ideally within precision diagnostics or a similar specialized field
- Strong understanding of professional services performance models, including employee development frameworks and performance-based incentives
- Demonstrated success as a recruiter and builder of high-performing teams, with experience linking compensation and bonuses to performance outcomes
- Experience leveraging HR technology platforms, including AI-enabled tools, to support workforce performance, development, and distributed teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a startup or scaling healthcare organization
- Multi-site leadership experience
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
