Job Title: Human Resources Manager (Temporary)
Location: Manassas, VA (On-site, 5 days/week)
Pay Rate: $40–$43/hour
Duration: Temporary Assignment (could potentially become full time)
Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to support day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced, on-site environment. This role is ideal for an HR professional who can quickly step in, manage employee relations matters, oversee benefits administration, and ensure smooth HR operations with minimal ramp-up time.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, including conflict resolution, investigations, and policy interpretation
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and employee support
- Partner with leadership to ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Support HR operations, reporting, and general administrative functions
- Utilize HRIS systems (preferably ADP) to manage employee data and reporting
Must-Have Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a U.S.-accredited institution (required)
- 4–7 years of Human Resources experience (no more than 7 years)
- Proven experience in employee relations, including conflict resolution and investigations
- Hands-on experience with benefits administration (enrollments, changes, employee support)
- Ability to work fully on-site, 5 days per week in Manassas, VA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to step into a fast-paced environment and contribute immediately
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ADP or similar HRIS systems
- Prior experience in a high-volume or fast-paced work environment
