Jereh Axisone is a turnkey AI data center developer that integrates power, cooling and modular infrastructure to rapidly deliver high-density AI compute platforms across North America.
We are building and scaling our North American team and seeking a strategic, hands-on HR leader to oversee all people operations from the ground up. As the North America HR Director, you will design and implement comprehensive HR strategies, drive scalable team development, and foster an engaging workplace culture for our fast-growing startup. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership to drive sustainable growth, attract top talent, and build a scalable, compliant, and people-centric organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end startup team building from inception: define organizational structure, conduct headcount planning, design job roles, and develop hiring roadmaps to support rapid business expansion.
- Manage full-cycle talent acquisition, employer branding, and talent pipeline development across North America.
- Develop and implement HR policies, compliance frameworks, and operational procedures aligned with U.S. and Canadian labor regulations and startup operational requirements.
- Design and administer compensation and benefits, performance management, employee onboarding, retention strategies, and workforce engagement programs.
- Drive organizational development, cultural cultivation, change management, and leadership development initiatives.
- Act as a trusted strategic business partner for executive and departmental leaders.
- Oversee employee relations, DEI initiatives, workforce analytics, and scalable HR operations to support high-growth expansion.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English and Chinese, with both languages serving as professional working languages.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in startup or high-growth environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in early-stage team establishment, rapid scaling, and organizational structure design.
- In-depth knowledge of North American (U.S. & Canada) HR compliance, labor laws, compensation & benefits, and end-to-end people operations.
- Possess a startup mindset: proactive, adaptable, resilient, and comfortable with dynamic working environments.
- Excellent strategic thinking, execution capabilities, leadership and interpersonal skills.
