Summit Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Director-Remote with travel, for our client who is a leading provider of smart mobility and curbside management solutions, helping cities and operators optimize parking, enforcement, and curb space utilization through advanced technology and data-driven insights.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess a high work ethic, excellent communication skills, knowledge of employment regulations and HR practices, strategic thinking abilities, strong organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
The HR Director will improve HR processes, implement strategies that support business growth, improve morale and employee retention, enhance safety and wellness, strengthen relations between staff and employers, manage job satisfaction, attract the best recruits, and promote the organization's values. This position is Remote, but you will base your business hours on Eastern Time. There will be 25% required travel, national and international.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement human resource policies.
- Support employee development.
- Enhance employee engagement through strong development and retention programs.
- Design onboarding procedures.
- Implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
- Support strategic objectives.
- Mitigate risk.
- Manage the HRIS system and processes.
- Design accountability mechanisms.
- Oversee overall employment needs.
- Create and implement staffing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Manage staff wellness.
- Own the talent management processes and partner with Modaxo level resources.
- Motivate and support current staff.
- Handle employee benefits.
- Identify staffing needs, facilitate recruiting and create job descriptions.
- Design and direct training programs.
Required Skills
- Minimum 8 years progressive Human Resources experience.
- Experience in both HR operations & administration.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Proven track record of building strong working relationships with business and human resource partners while fostering a cooperative work environment.
- Experience with managing HR operations across US and Canada. Engagement in managing UK, India and Mexico operations a plus.
- Knowledge of labor US laws
- Strong project management skills, coordinating multiple concurrent highly complex and high priority projects with considerable internal and external dependencies.
- Track record of solving large, complex problems and producing measurable results.
- Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and remain objective while working with sensitive and confidential materials.
- Exposure to HRIS software. Working knowledge of Workday is an asset.

- Ability to use the full capabilities of Excel for data analysis.
- Bachelors degree and Human Resources certification (SHRM) or equivalent.
- Must be willing to travel internationally as required. 25% required travel.
