We are looking for an HR Specialist to join a team in Lake Mary, Florida on a Contract basis. This role will support key human resources functions that help the business remain effective, responsive, and well-supported in a fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate will bring a balanced background in talent operations, employee support, compliance, and HR systems while contributing practical recommendations to leadership.
Responsibilities:
• Lead full-cycle hiring activities, including sourcing coordination, candidate experience, and onboarding support to help secure and retain strong talent.
• Support a healthy workplace culture by addressing employee concerns, guiding managers, and helping resolve workplace issues in a timely and thorough manner.
• Apply and uphold HR policies and established procedures to reduce organizational risk and promote consistent practices across teams.
• Track employment-related compliance matters, identify potential concerns, and help implement corrective actions where needed.
• Manage day-to-day human resources operations and maintain organized HR administration processes that support business continuity.
• Oversee HR technology and information systems to improve efficiency, maintain accurate records, and streamline routine workflows.
• Contribute to initiatives that strengthen organizational performance, workforce effectiveness, and overall productivity.
• Prepare summaries, insights, and recommendations for leadership to support informed decision-making on people-related matters.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in human resources, with healthcare industry experience considered an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to lead HR initiatives and think strategically when addressing workforce needs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization.
• Experience managing multifaceted HR projects and carrying priorities through to completion.
• Working knowledge of HRIS platforms and other human resources technology tools.
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and operational demands.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment in handling HR matters.
