Role Description
This full-time, on-site role of Human Resources Director is based in Bronx, NY. The director will oversee all HR functions, including implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Key responsibilities include developing and executing human resources strategies, leading recruitment efforts, administering performance management systems, and providing guidance on labor and employment law.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Human Resources, HR Policies, and Employee Relations
- Proven expertise in Performance Management and evaluating employee effectiveness
- Comprehensive understanding of Labor and Employment Law
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or HR certifications preferred)
- Experience in a leadership role within the transportation or healthcare industry is a plus
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, community-focused environment
