About the Role
Reporting to the HR Director, this position supports the delivery of compliant, consistent, and employee-centered HR services. You will lead HR staff, partner with leadership, and serve as a trusted resource on employee relations, performance management, and workforce practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily HR operations and ensure compliance with policies, labor agreements, and regulations
- Advise managers and employees on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management
- Lead recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and compliant experience
- Coach and develop HR team members while maintaining high service standards
- Partner across teams to improve HR processes and enhance the employee experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6+ years of HR experience in a unionized or regulated environment
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- Knowledge of employment laws and collective bargaining agreements
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) required within one year
