Job Title: HR Manager / HR Business Partner
Location: Windsor, CT (onsite)
Salary: $100,000 – $115,000 + Strong Benefits
Job Summary:
A growing services company local to Windsor, CT is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their team. This role will function as a strategic HR Business Partner, working closely with leadership to drive key human resources initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in employee relations, change management, and mergers & acquisitions, along with a hands-on approach to HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to leadership, providing strategic guidance and support
- Lead employee relations efforts, including conflict resolution and performance management
- Drive and support change management initiatives across the organization
- Play a key role in mergers and acquisitions, including integration and organizational alignment
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Oversee HR operations, policies, and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Partner with leadership on talent development, workforce planning, and organizational strategy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6+ years of progressive HR experience
- Proven experience in change management initiatives
- Direct experience supporting mergers and acquisitions activity
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, compliance, and employee relations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment
