We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Director to lead and shape HR strategies within our manufacturing operations in Denver, Colorado. This role requires a dynamic leader skilled in union labor relations, compliance management, and employee engagement to drive organizational success. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on approach to workforce development and possess a strong background in creating impactful HR policies and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with organizational goals and foster employee satisfaction.
• Lead union contract negotiations, labor relations, and collective bargaining efforts to ensure compliance and effective collaboration.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development initiatives in partnership with operations leadership.
• Manage HR data systems, ensuring accuracy, process automation, and insightful analytics to enhance decision-making.
• Conduct and resolve employee relations investigations with fairness and transparency.
• Create strategies to attract, retain, and develop talent that meets the evolving needs of the manufacturing sector.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations, supporting audits and maintaining legal standards.
• Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics to provide actionable insights to leadership on productivity and engagement.
• Mentor and lead a team of HR professionals, fostering their growth and development.
• Collaborate across departments to optimize HR service delivery and support organizational objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles within manufacturing and unionized environments.
• Proven expertise in union contract administration, grievance resolution, and collective bargaining processes.
• Advanced proficiency in HR systems and workforce analytics, such as Workday, SuccessFactors, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance within manufacturing settings, including labor laws and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt in fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor HR teams, encouraging attention to detail and growth.
• Experience in developing and implementing strategies for talent acquisition, retention, and skills development.
