Interim Director of People Operations
The organization is initially looking for a 90-day interim leader, with the option to transition into a permanent role if there is mutual interest. Alternatively, the interim engagement could be extended if you prefer to remain in a temporary capacity while a long-term placement is finalized.
The Director of People Operations is a strategic and operational leader responsible for cultivating an employee‑focused culture while strengthening the HR infrastructure required to support high‑quality patient care. This role integrates systems thinking, data‑driven decision‑making, employee experience design, and compliance excellence.
With oversight of People Operations, Total Rewards, HR systems, and workforce planning, the Director advances operational efficiency, drives equity and belonging, enables the hospital to scale responsibly, enhances employee engagement, and ensures HR services are reliable, measurable, and aligned with organizational goals. This leader plays a critical role in positioning the hospital as both an employer of choice and a trusted healthcare provider.
Experience/Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally in healthcare
- Strong background in HR operations, compensation, systems, compliance, and analytics
- Experience leading culture and operational transformation initiatives
