Our client, a large hospitality focused organization, is seeking a Temporary HR Manager to join their team in Washington, D.C.
About the Job:
* Support HR operations including recruiting, interviewing, and ensuring compliance with hiring and employment laws.
* Coordinate mandatory training, performance evaluations, and merit increase processes.
* Oversee safety compliance, OSHA requirements, and manage workers' compensation and liability claims.
* Assist with benefits administration, leave paperwork, and payroll review.
* Provide guidance to managers on employee relations and help maintain a positive workplace.
* Manage labor relations activities, including responding to grievances and supporting arbitration processes.
About You:
* 4+ years of relevant experience.
* Knowledge of HR practices, procedures, and employment laws.
* Exceptionally professional, poised, and polished in all interactions.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent time management and problem solving abilities.
* Able to work independently, handle sensitive matters, and support leadership effectively.
About The Position:

* $30-36/hr
* Onsite, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
