We are looking for an experienced HR Director to join our client's team on a contract basis in Vancouver, Washington. This role requires a strategic and detail-oriented individual to oversee all aspects of human resources, acting as a trusted advisor to leadership while managing day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HR management and demonstrate expertise in employee relations, compliance, and organizational strategy.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a key advisor to the President, providing HR leadership and guidance to support organizational goals.
• Manage employee relations, ensuring a positive and productive workplace environment.
• Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance and competitiveness.
• Develop and implement HR policies and strategies that align with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining ethical HR practices.
• Lead due diligence processes and provide support for mergers and acquisitions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing leadership to address HR needs and drive workforce initiatives.
• Provide leadership in HR administration, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
• Act as a strategic partner in developing and executing organizational development plans.
• Address and resolve complex HR issues with attention to detail and discretion.
• Proven experience in HR leadership roles, preferably as an HR Director.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, compensation, and benefits administration.
• Expertise in HR compliance and policy development.
• Demonstrated experience in due diligence and supporting mergers and acquisitions.
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, offering strategic insights.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive issues.
• Background in manufacturing or similar environments is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of organizational strategy and its alignment with HR functions.
