Key Responsibilities
Employee Support & Inquiries (Primary Focus)
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions, including payroll, benefits, scheduling, policies, and attendance.
- Provide timely and accurate responses, ensuring excellent customer service for the plant workforce.
- Escalate complex cases to HR leadership as needed while maintaining confidentiality.
- Assist employees with form completion, onboarding requirements, and self‑service HR system navigation.
Time & Attendance / Clock Management
- Monitor and audit daily time records to ensure accuracy of punches, schedules, and premium payments.
- Process timecard corrections, missing punches, and exceptions in accordance with company policies and labor guidelines.
- Work closely with Supervisors and Production Leaders to validate hours worked and resolve attendance discrepancies.
- Prepare weekly attendance and overtime reports for management.
- Support payroll processing by ensuring time data is completed and validated before payroll cut‑off.
HR Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate and organized employee files, both physical and digital.
- Support new hire onboarding, orientation sessions, and training logistics.
- Assist with updating HR spreadsheets, databases, and employee records.
- Participate in HR initiatives such as engagement activities, compliance audits, safety programs, and communication postings.
- Support recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and coordinating plant tours.
Compliance & Policy Support
- Ensure adherence to company policies, collective agreements (if applicable), and local labor regulations.
- Assist with documentation related to attendance management, corrective actions, and leave processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; technical or bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or similar high‑volume environments.
- Familiarity with time & attendance systems (e.g., Kronos, ADP, SAP) is highly desirable.
- Strong organization, multitasking, and follow‑up skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Knowledge in ADP is a plus
