We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in Carlsbad, California. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing employee benefits, supporting leave programs, and fostering positive employee relations. This position requires a strong understanding of HR practices and compliance to ensure smooth operations and effective collaboration with leadership.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee employee benefits administration, including enrollments, updates, and addressing inquiries.
• Manage and monitor leave of absence programs, such as medical, personal, and organizational leaves.
• Provide expert guidance to employees and managers on employee relations matters.
• Support conflict resolution, investigations, and address performance-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate HR records while ensuring adherence to company policies and employment regulations.
• Collaborate with leadership and the HR team to implement initiatives and enhance HR processes.
• Assist in onboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience for new hires.
• Utilize HRIS systems to manage and track employee data effectively.
• Proven experience in employee relations and conflict resolution.
• Strong knowledge of HR administration, including benefits and leave management.
• Proficiency in onboarding practices and HRIS systems.
• Familiarity with employment laws and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
