Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) and Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) are affiliated architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firms with a team of 800+ professionals and growing. We’re seeking a driven Corporate Recruiter to join our Recruiting team and play a key role in attracting top talent across multiple disciplines.
This position is based in our Abingdon, MD office and will start on-site, with the opportunity to move to a hybrid schedule after 6 months. Core hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., business casual dress. Occasional overtime may be required.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Source and engage active and passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, and other platforms
- Coordinate and schedule virtual and in-person interviews
- Prepare and send offer letters; follow up with hiring managers and candidates
- Pre-screen candidates and conduct reference checks
- Post and manage job ads through the ATS, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other sites
- Partner with hiring managers to develop effective recruiting strategies
- Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data in the ATS
- Support onboarding by coordinating new hire paperwork and pre-employment requirements
- Stay current on recruiting trends and best practices
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred, not required)
- Confident communicator with strong organizational skills
