We're working with a family-owned leader in shipping, industrial and packaging distribution on this exciting opportunity.
Lead HR for a high-volume, 1.4M sq ft warehouse campus—own recruiting, retention and employee experience for 200+ people. You'll run HRIS (Workday), ATS-driven hiring, performance management and employee relations programs that move the needle. If you love building teams, coaching leaders, and scaling recruiting processes in a shift/warehouse environment, this role is for you.
The Role
• Lead end-to-end HR operations for 200+ warehouse, facilities and office employees; manage HR workflows and HRIS integrations using Workday and core HR tools.
• Own full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition: configure ATS workflows, run high-volume sourcing, structured interviews, offer management and onboarding for multiple shifts.
• Coach and build a high-performing HR team to support staffing a new facility; develop training, succession plans, and HR metrics/KPIs reported in Excel and dashboards.
• Partner with site leadership on performance management, employee relations, investigations and engagement initiatives to drive retention, safety and productivity.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field and 7+ years HR experience with 3+ years managing HR/talent teams in high-volume or warehouse settings.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS and ATS platforms (Workday experience a plus); strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel pivots, VLOOKUP, reporting).
• Deep knowledge of federal and Ohio employment law, compliance, benefits administration and compensation practices.
• Proven recruiting strength in high-growth, shift-based operations; strong stakeholder influencing, conflict resolution and performance coaching skills.
