Description
HR Supervisor manages day-to-day human resources operations, onboarding, and employee relations. Key duties include managing performance, payroll administration, maintaining records, and implementing company policies to foster a productive workplace.
Key responsibilities include executing core HR processes such as onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, training coordination, payroll assistance, reporting and the implementation and reinforcement of HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Operations: Onboarding, drug/background check, orientation, I9, compliance trainings, coordinating between staffing companies, and Parent companies.
- Compliance & Policy: Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Employee Relations: Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Performance Management: Coordinate performance evaluations and support professional development programs.
- Stake Holder Collaboration: Maintain accurate employee records and assist with payroll and benefits administration.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 6-8 years of full recent HR Operations, with proven supervisory experience. Led a small team for 3-5 years or has been in a manager role for in a small corporate environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business, or related field (Mandatory).
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Skills: Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Software: Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite, Preferred
- Minimum 3 years of Payroll experience
- Experienced in understanding and communicating company policy and procedures
- Able to create and maintain administrative/office procedures and practices for all employees
- Able to collect and maintain HR documents, trackers, and data in an efficient manner
- Knowledgeable of HR employment laws and able to stay abreast of the latest and ever-changing local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- Experienced in administering benefits
- Experienced assisting in training and guiding members on new policy and procedures
- Visa/Immigration experience is a plus
- SHRM-CP or PHR and/or other related certifications is a plus
