Our client, an alternative investment firm in Manhattan, is looking to hire a Human Resources Business Partner.
This HRBP will join the HR team and support senior business leaders in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives as a trusted advisor, enjoys partnering closely with the business, and brings a strong point of view on talent, performance, and organizational effectiveness.
What You’ll Do
- Partner closely with business leaders to understand strategic priorities and deliver HR solutions that drive performance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness
- Build trusted relationships across the organization and serve as a thoughtful, credible advisor on talent, leadership, and performance matters
- Use data, analytics, and market insights to identify trends, inform decision-making, and align people strategies with business objectives (e.g., training initiatives, investor diligence requests, operational improvements)
- Lead and execute key elements of the firm’s global talent agenda, including performance management, promotions, and talent development
- Be a hands-on team player—willing to roll up your sleeves, support colleagues, and contribute to a collaborative, high-impact HR function
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in a strategic, hands-on HR Business Partner role
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong record of academic achievement
- Prior experience in financial services required
- Proven ability to build strong relationships, influence senior leaders, and translate business needs into effective people strategies
The annual base salary range is $175,000 to $225,000 plus a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
