We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Santa Ana, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in overseeing HR operations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and providing strategic support to management. This role requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in HR administration and employee relations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain annual contracts, ensuring clarity and compliance with organizational standards.
• Provide guidance on employee terminations, including preparing talking points and ensuring adherence to policies.
• Collaborate with the HR team to update and streamline processes related to annual updates and contracts.
• Oversee employee onboarding procedures to ensure a seamless integration into the organization.
• Administer HR systems, including maintaining accurate records within HRIS platforms.
• Address employee relations concerns and provide solutions to promote a positive workplace environment.
• Support benefit administration, including enrollment and updates, to meet employee needs.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
• Partner with management to provide strategic HR support and implement best practices.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on HR strategies and improvements.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources management or a related field.
• Strong expertise in employee relations and HR administration.
• Proficiency in HRIS platforms and related systems.
• Proven ability to manage onboarding processes and support employee transitions.
• Solid understanding of benefit functions and administration.
• Familiarity with employment laws and regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with school systems or similar environments is highly desirable.
