Position Overview
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and hands-on HR Manager to join our fast-growing startup. You’ll play a foundational role in shaping and executing our people strategy—from recruiting top talent to implementing HR operations, performance systems, and a great team culture.
This is a highly autonomous role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and wants to build solid HR infrastructure from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
● Define and refine the company’s brand identity, voice, and messaging
● Own end-to-end recruiting process: JD creation, sourcing, interviewing, coordination, and onboarding
● Partner with team leads to identify hiring needs and build effective pipelines
● Optimize hiring tools and processes to improve speed and quality of hires
● Manage employee onboarding, offboarding, and life cycle operations
● Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and internal HR documentation
● Assist in designing and implementing performance review and feedback processes
● Help drive OKRs, team goal-setting, and performance calibration
● Organize team-building activities and help nurture a strong, inclusive company culture
● Ensure HR practices comply with local labor laws and company policies
● Support benefits administration and interface with PEO/payroll providers
● Maintain people analytics and prepare insights on headcount, turnover, and costs
Qualifications
● 3+ years of hands-on HR experience, preferably in startups or small, agile teams
● Strong understanding of core HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, people ops, performance
● Highly organized, trustworthy, detail-driven, and solutions-oriented
● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
● Self-starter who enjoys creating structure in ambiguity
