Job Summary:
Faith Home Health & Hospice is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Human Resources to provide strategic and operational leadership for the organization’s Home Health and Hospice service lines. This role partners closely with executive leadership, clinical leaders, and operational teams to develop and execute people strategies that support high‑quality patient care, regulatory compliance, workforce stability, and organizational growth.
The Director of Human Resources oversees all core HR functions across multiple locations, ensuring consistency, compliance, and a positive employee experience while supporting the organization’s mission and values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As an HR Director you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Serve as a strategic partner to executive and clinical leadership, aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals, mission, and values
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support workforce planning, clinician recruitment and retention, succession planning, and employee engagement
- Lead change management initiatives related to organizational growth, acquisitions, restructuring, and regulatory changes within home health and hospice operations
- Provide guidance and oversight on employee relations matters, including investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices across all locations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and healthcare regulations (including CMS, CHAP, Joint Commission, and state licensing requirements)
- Mitigate employment‑related risk and support audits, surveys, and regulatory investigations
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, setting clear goals, performance metrics, and accountability standards
- Promote a culture of accountability, compassion, and excellence aligned with patient‑centered care
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity
- Analyze workforce data and metrics to support informed decision‑making and continuous improvement
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Heathcare Administration or related field, Master's Degree Preferred.
- Have 8-10 years of HR leadship experience, healthcare preferred
- Prior experience in home health, hospice or post-acute care preferred
- Demonstrated experience supporting multi-stite or geographically dispersed operations.
- Execellent communication, interpersonal and conflict skills
- Proven ability to influence and partner with executive and clinical leaders
- Ability to balance operational demands with long-term strategic priorities
- SHRM-CP, SPHR or equivalent professional certification preferred.
