The JOB
ME Engineers is seeking an experienced Human Resources leader to serve as HR Manager – Americas. This individual will advance HR operations across the Americas, aligning our structure and enhancing our employee-centric, compliant processes. This role is key to building a scalable, modern HR function that supports ME Engineers in attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional talent. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating structure, driving efficiency, building alignment, and ensuring a ubiquitous OneME employee experience. This is a hands-on role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead HR operations across the Americas region and act as a strategic partner to regional business leaders
- Work with our Executive Leadership team to standardize HR practices across offices, including hiring, onboarding, compliance, benefits, employee performance, people programs, and employee relations.
- Use data and systems to identify trends, inform decisions, and improve HR service delivery
- Manage benefits provider relationships, HR systems, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws
- Develop and execute a talent acquisition strategy aligned with business goals and needs.
- Support organizational change, culture-building, and employee engagement initiatives
- Lead and manage a team of 2 with a collaborative, hands-on approach
- Periodic travel to regional offices is expected
YOUR Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree or SHRM/HRCI certification highly encouraged. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in place of formal degrees.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including multi-state operations
- Proven ability to lead through change, build scalable processes, and influence at all levels
- Experience building or leading the modernization of the HR function
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and compliance requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in a multi-office or geographically distributed environment
