Overview
We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Human Resources to lead and execute core HR initiatives and operations across talent management, employee relations, and compensation. This role is responsible for driving performance management and compensation processes for attorneys and staff.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Organizational Development, or related field required
- Master’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
- 5–7 years of HR management experience supporting legal talent and staff or office management in a professional services environment (law firm strongly preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in employee relations, including investigations, fact-finding meetings, performance coaching, and terminations
- Strong relationship-building skills with an approachable, trust-based leadership style
- SPHR/PHR, SHRM-CP, or related certification preferred
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; strong working knowledge of HRIS systems (Dayforce preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise in HR metrics and analysis, including compensation analysis and benchmarking
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to present to small and large groups
- Proven project management ability from design through execution, managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong leadership, team-building, and conflict resolution skills; ability to lead through change
- Demonstrated professionalism, strong ethics, and commitment to confidentiality while balancing employee advocacy with business needs
