Role Overview
ASMBL Digital is hiring a part-time Senior HR Manager to provide strategic and operational support for the HR function. This role is responsible for developing HR policies for the U.S. business, Canada E.O.R. group and global contractors. You will be managing employee relations, terminations, legal compliance for 8 U.S. states, performance management efforts along with conducting a market analysis to create a compensation matrix for all positions and managing a Canadian E.O.R. function. Work with our full time HR Administrator to handle high level HR questions and review offers and contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Performance
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances
- Oversee performance management processes, including reviews and development plans
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture
Recruitment
- Lead or support recruitment and selection for key roles
Compensation, Benefits & Compliance
- Research and create a new compensation matrix structure for all positions.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. labor laws, employment regulations, and internal policies
- Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and procedures
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Manage the Rippling HRIS U.S. system, Rippling Canadian E.O.R. system and a possible pivot to a new HRIS system.
What’s In It for You
- Part-time flexible hours: work approximately 3 or 4 “1/2” days per week or 12 - 18 hours per week based on business needs.
- Work remotely with occasional in office work for meetings in the U District
- Hourly Compensation: $75 - $100 (DOE)
- This position is not benefit eligible as a part-time position.
