We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join a dynamic financial services firm in Manhattan. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage a broad range of HR functions with precision and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and HR-related matters.
- Administer and manage HR policies, procedures, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Oversee recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding.
- Support performance management initiatives and employee development programs.
- Handle employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
- Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports for leadership.
- Collaborate with management on workforce planning and organizational development.
- Assist with benefits administration and payroll coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably within financial services.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
