About You
· You have proven experience in human resources management with a focus on strategic planning and program management.
· You have a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance across all HR functions, including Federal and various States (North Carolina, California, Minnesota and Washington).
· Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with senior leadership and employees at all levels.
· You are proficient in recruitment, selection and onboarding processes.
· You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with high emotional intelligence. You communicate successes AND challenges openly, with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
· You have the ability to work effectively with a high-caliber team of Engineers and Sales leaders and positively coach and influence others.
· You have experience with organization design, helping start-up companies scale their business, while maintaining/building their culture.
· You handle sensitive information with confidentiality, integrity and professionalism.
· You have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of HR experience in a manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
· Help hire the best employees: assist in the creation of job descriptions, identify and post job openings appropriately, screen resumes, perform phone/video-screening of applicants, follow-up with all applicants, set up interviews, collect and provide feedback to applicants.
· Administer compensation and benefits programs, including working with ADP to process bi-weekly payroll. Maintain HR records and prepare reports as needed.
· Revise and implement HR policies and procedures
· Address employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits in a timely manner.
· Manage the recruitment, selection, and orientation processes. Facilitate employee onboarding and training programs to promote engagement and retention.
· Handle employee relations issues and resolve conflicts.
· Coach/train employees to become better managers.
· Establish and oversee performance management systems, career planning and development processes including promotions, role changes, terminations and layoffs.
· Foster a positive and productive workplace environment. Help maintain and grow a healthy corporate culture. Collaborate with Executives to develop HR strategies that support organizational goals.
