LHH is partnering with a tenured client who is looking for a Plant HR Manager to support their site in Duncan, SC. The ideal candidate will support the Human Resources responsibilities for this blue collar manufacturing location - supporting employee relations and being a change agent in compliance and performance management. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Responsibilities
- Employee relations, performance management, and compliance
- Workforce planning and leadership development; helping to ramp up their strategic HR
- Leadership development, succession planning, and employee engagement and retention
- Focusing on driving culture and change
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- 8+ years' experience in Human Resources
- Blue collar manufacturing industry experience as well as people management of at least 3 direct reports
- Demonstrated expertise and ability in implementing strategies and programs as well as supporting training and development!
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
- Attention to detail and good judgement
