Job Title: Search Associate
Location: Matthews, NC – 100% on-site
Position Summary
This individual is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to identify, attract, and place qualified candidates for client companies. This role works in a fast-paced staffing agency environment, sourcing both active and passive talent, maintaining strong client and candidate relationships, and ensuring timely, high-quality placements that meet client expectations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing candidates in temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire roles.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through job boards, referrals, and networking.
- Conduct candidate assessments to evaluate skills, experience, availability, and cultural fit for client requirements.
- Partner closely with clients to understand their hiring needs, job requirements, and company culture.
- Present qualified candidates to clients and coordinate interviews, feedback, and hiring decisions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and company policies throughout the recruiting process.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with candidates and clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new client opportunities and support business development efforts.
- Provide ongoing communication and support to candidates throughout the placement process and assignment duration.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (Human Resources, Business, or related field).
- 1–3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a staffing agency environment.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing tools, social media recruiting, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple job openings and priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard business applications.
