Role: Interim HR Director (Contract)
Location: New York, NY
In Office Schedule: 4 days on site
Compensation Range: Dependent on experience, $150-300 per hour
Our client is a global professional services firm with a strong reputation for excellence and a collaborative culture. They are seeking an experienced Interim HR Director to lead on core HR operations across multiples US offices.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who can operate both strategically and tactically. You’ll be the senior-most HR professional in the U.S., partnering closely with firm leadership and global HR colleagues to drive alignment, consistency, and excellence in HR practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving several projects to improve HR performance across operations and compensation
- Overseeing core HR operations
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
- Managing compensation and benefits processes, including benchmarking and vendor relationships.
- Ensuring compliance with U.S. employment law and firm-wide standards.
Key requirements:
- 15+ years’ experience in HR, ideally with leadership exposure in professional services or consulting environments.
- Strong understanding of US employment law and HR best practices.
- Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management capability.
- Experience working in a global organization with cross-border collaboration.
