US HR Manager

Reports to: Global Head of People
Hybrid: Onsite in Lower Manhattan 4 days/week

The Opportunity:
We're seeking an experienced US HR Manager to oversee all HR operations for the company's New York office and provide strategic and hands-on support across the full employee lifecycle. This role will act as the senior HR presence in the US, partnering closely with global leadership to align people initiatives with business goals while ensuring compliance with New York State and Federal employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generalist HR Support: Deliver day-to-day HR guidance across performance management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and organizational development.
* Employment Law & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable state, city, and federal employment laws and regulations.
* Talent Acquisition: Manage full-cycle recruitment across all business functions, from sourcing and selection to onboarding, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
* Talent Pipeline Development: Build proactive sourcing strategies to attract top talent across tech and professional functions.
* Employee Engagement: Develop and execute programs that enhance engagement, strengthen culture, and support retention.
* Compensation & Benchmarking: Conduct ongoing market research to maintain competitive pay practices.
* HR Analytics: Use data and reporting to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
* In-depth knowledge of multi-state and federal employment laws and HR best practices.
* Proven experience in both generalist HR and recruitment within fast-paced, growth-oriented environments (ideally in the technology or services sectors).
* Strong influencing and communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across levels and departments.
* Experience working with HR systems, ATS platforms, and data analytics tools.
* Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable to change.
