We are seeking a strategic and dynamic HR executive to lead the people strategy for a well-established, growth-oriented organization in the distribution and manufacturing sector. This role is a key member of the executive leadership team and reports directly to the President.
The Vice President of Human Resources will shape and execute initiatives across workforce planning, succession planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, learning and development, and performance management. This is an opportunity to influence organizational culture and align human capital strategies with long-term business objectives, fostering a high-performance and inclusive environment.
This role is based on site, 5 days a week, at our operating company’s corporate headquarters. Up to 25% travel across the operating company’s territory is encouraged.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the President and senior leadership team, aligning HR strategy with business growth objectives.
- Lead the HR function and mentor a high-performing team, driving innovation and excellence.
- Develop and execute integrated talent strategies, including workforce planning, succession planning, onboarding, and leadership development.
- Champion a values-driven culture that promotes inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee core HR processes such as performance management, compensation reviews, and talent reviews.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements in partnership with Legal and Compliance teams.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including executive-level responsibilities.
- Proven success in strategic HR leadership within medium to large organizations, ideally in distribution or manufacturing.
- Strong business acumen and ability to serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives.
- Experience leading organizational change and cultural initiatives that drive engagement and profitability.
- Expertise in talent management, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without sponsorship.
