Position Summary
We’re looking for a People Operations Associate to join our People & Culture team and play a key role in supporting our people, processes, and culture as we grow. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone early in their HR career who is eager to learn, grow, and build a path toward a future People Operations Manager position. You’ll gain exposure to startup HR operations, systems, benefits, compliance, and internal culture initiatives—all while helping us build a best-in-class employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and internal transitions
- Maintain HRIS data, documentation, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory processes
- Support People & Culture leadership in managing benefits administration, leave tracking, and employee data integrity
- Assist with the development and optimization of workflows, tools, and internal policies
- Prepare and maintain HR documentation, employee files, and compliance trackers
- Track compliance requirements such as trainings, handbooks, audits, and reporting deadlines
- Support logistics for internal events, offsites, and company-wide meetings
- Help facilitate internal culture initiatives and cross-departmental collaboration
- Serve as a point of contact for employee HR inquiries and vendor coordination
- Provide logistical support for performance review and goal-setting cycles
- Assist in generating HR reports and tracking People & Culture metrics
- Support early-stage planning and coordination for internal programs such as onboarding experience, employee recognition, internal communications, and engagement initiatives
Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Discretion and ability to manage sensitive/confidential information
- Familiarity with CA employment law and HR compliance best practices
- Proficient in tools like Rippling, Slack, Asana, Google Workspace (or similar systems)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on deadlines
- Proactive, resourceful, and service-oriented mindset
Education/ Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–4 years of experience in an HR, People Operations, or administrative role within a fast-paced environment (biotech/startup experience is a plus)
Compensation
Inograft Bio offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $110,000.00 to $122,000.00. The actual salary will be dependent on various factors that may include experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities.
