We’re seeking an experienced
Human Resources Manager who can balance strategic insight with hands-on execution — helping shape our culture, streamline operations, and support our growing team.
About The Role
The
HR Manager serves as a key partner to leadership and employees, managing all day-to-day HR operations while contributing to long-term organizational goals. This role oversees recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance — ensuring that every HR process reflects Imerza’s values of innovation, respect, and excellence.
You’ll work closely with executives and department heads to support workforce planning, policy alignment, and a positive employee experience across all levels of the organization.
What You’ll Do
Talent Management & Employee Experience:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Partner with hiring managers to define roles, job levels, and competitive compensation ranges.
- Support managers with goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development discussions.
- Ensure employee records, organizational charts, and job descriptions remain current and accurate.
- Develop initiatives to promote engagement, recognition, and retention.
Compensation, Benefits & Compliance
- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, PTO, and other programs.
- Partner with vendors and brokers to manage enrollments, renewals, and employee communications.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA, etc.) and internal policies.
- Support compensation benchmarking and pay equity reviews.
- Track key HR metrics (turnover, headcount, hiring, time-to-fill) and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Culture & Development
- Promote Imerza’s culture and values through programs that strengthen connection, inclusion, and accountability.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and pulse surveys; help develop action plans to improve results.
- Partner with managers to identify training needs and coordinate learning opportunities.
- Coach leaders on effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution.
HR Operations
- Maintain and enhance HR systems (e.g., Sage), ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
- Lead policy and handbook updates in collaboration with the executive team.
- Manage employee relations cases with fairness, discretion, and consistency.
- Oversee document retention, compliance audits, and reporting requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field.
- 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, including generalist or business partner responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience with HR systems and reporting (Sage, Paylocity).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.
- Ability to balance hands-on HR operations with strategic alignment to business goals.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification preferred.
