We’re seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager who can balance strategic insight with hands-on execution — helping shape our culture, streamline operations, and support our growing team.

About The Role

The HR Manager serves as a key partner to leadership and employees, managing all day-to-day HR operations while contributing to long-term organizational goals. This role oversees recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance — ensuring that every HR process reflects Imerza’s values of innovation, respect, and excellence.

You’ll work closely with executives and department heads to support workforce planning, policy alignment, and a positive employee experience across all levels of the organization.

What You’ll Do

Talent Management & Employee Experience:

Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
Partner with hiring managers to define roles, job levels, and competitive compensation ranges.
Support managers with goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development discussions.
Ensure employee records, organizational charts, and job descriptions remain current and accurate.
Develop initiatives to promote engagement, recognition, and retention.

Compensation, Benefits & Compliance

Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, PTO, and other programs.
Partner with vendors and brokers to manage enrollments, renewals, and employee communications.
Maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA, etc.) and internal policies.
Support compensation benchmarking and pay equity reviews.
Track key HR metrics (turnover, headcount, hiring, time-to-fill) and provide actionable insights to leadership.

Culture & Development

Promote Imerza’s culture and values through programs that strengthen connection, inclusion, and accountability.
Support employee engagement initiatives and pulse surveys; help develop action plans to improve results.
Partner with managers to identify training needs and coordinate learning opportunities.
Coach leaders on effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution.

HR Operations

Maintain and enhance HR systems (e.g., Sage), ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
Lead policy and handbook updates in collaboration with the executive team.
Manage employee relations cases with fairness, discretion, and consistency.
Oversee document retention, compliance audits, and reporting requirements.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field.
5–8 years of progressive HR experience, including generalist or business partner responsibilities.
Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
Experience with HR systems and reporting (Sage, Paylocity).
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.
Ability to balance hands-on HR operations with strategic alignment to business goals.
PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification preferred.
