About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced HR Manager/Director to lead CMP’s Human Resources function through a period of modernization and growth. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing HR operations, compliance, talent management, employee relations, and benefits administration. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to leadership while driving initiatives that enhance engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required; SHRM/PHR certification preferred.
- 8–10+ years of HR management experience, ideally in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of compliance, payroll, and employee relations.
- Proven ability to modernize systems, build structure, and lead change.
- Collaborative leadership style with excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee HR operations, employment policies, and compliance across six facilities.
- Lead recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management initiatives.
- Partner with leadership to strengthen culture, communication, and engagement.
- Manage employee relations, investigations, and coaching with fairness and consistency.
- Oversee benefits programs, FMLA tracking, and vendor relationships.
- Support modernization efforts, including HR systems upgrades and process improvements.
