Our client a well known Financial Services company is seeking a HR Manager in their New York, New York Location!
We will count on you to:
- Be a part of the People Function responsible for deploying enterprise-wide HR programs and initiatives.
- Immerse yourself in regional and local operations to stay attuned to business nuances at both the country and regional level.
- Provide guidance and support to People Managers across the full range of HR activities, including:
- Colleague performance management, skills development, and learning programs (e.g., supporting training, mentoring, and compliance).
- Employee relations matters such as investigations, performance improvement processes, disciplinary actions, and grievances, while consulting with Employee Relations specialists for complex issues.
- Communications, change management, and organizational effectiveness.
- Compensation, benefits, and rewards, including coaching People Managers during year-end performance and compensation reviews.
- Leave, absence management, and return-to-work accommodations in coordination with workforce administration.
- Inclusion, diversity, and awareness initiatives.
- Career development, succession planning, and internal mobility.
- Coordinate and support the rollout and delivery of HR programs within the region and contribute to process improvements.
- Manage ongoing and ad-hoc HR projects across business lines or the enterprise.
- Provide support during organizational restructuring, including planning and consultations with affected colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements, including reporting obligations.
- Collaborate with Global Mobility teams to support relocations and ensure smooth execution with colleagues and vendors.
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and People Partners to identify best practices and continuously improve HR delivery while tailoring to regional or country-specific needs.
- Support peer HR Managers to maintain consistent, high-quality HR service across all assigned locations.

- 4+ years of relevant HR experience and appropriate qualifications.
- Ability to operate independently in most situations while recognizing when to seek guidance on complex matters.
- Experience supporting managers with employee relations cases including counseling and investigations.
- Recognized as a trusted advisor to People Managers throughout all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including complex situations.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for service improvements and lead initiatives to enhance HR delivery.
- Proven success in implementing projects and initiatives across diverse geographies and business lines.
- Strong knowledge of local employment laws, regulations, HR policies, and processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong connections across the business and HR teams.
- Solid project management experience, including end-to-end execution.
