We’re partnering with a well-established construction firm to find a Senior HR Manager who can lead a small HR team and oversee day-to-day operations across a workforce of skilled professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR leader who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and understands the unique dynamics of the construction sector.
As Senior HR Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing core HR functions as well as partnering with the Executive team to support the company's strategic direction.
Your new role
- Lead and manage all core HR functions including employee relations, performance management, compliance, and policy development
- Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals
- Drive initiatives that foster a high-performance, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture
- Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees across all levels
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices
What you’ll need to succeed
- 10+ years of HR experience, preferable gained with the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and best practices
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- A strategic mindset with the ability to execute operationally
- Experience influencing and advising executive stakeholders
